Just saw "Public Enemies" with Johnny Depp.
I will watch anything he does even if the story line does not appeal.
Did some research on John Dillinger and point directly at his upbringing and the incident where he was gaoled for 20 years for a robbery as a young chap. As he said he was going to get out of prison being the hardest darnest man alive. That is what prison does/did.
Now....the movie was fine...Depp as usual did a stellar job. Christopher Bale was very good too and I like the costumes and the look of the times.
I did not like:
Firstly the use of the camera!
Horrible horrible, distracting and made me feel like I was the actual camera person! I was looking at a movie being made down a lense so it broke the sense of place and pace for me.
Secondly the editing!
Shocking, sloppy, psuedo neauvo claptrap. Out of focus and preemptive on some entrances by characters. Bad stuff.
Thirdly ( and hence because of the first two) the directing.
Not the direction of the actors, but direction of the camera movement, focus, preemptive sight lines.
Not good.
However Johnny is always worth watching.
The blurb from the director Michael Mann saying that Dillinger was a complex character was pure bullshit.
He was not. He was a damaged person trying to be someone else. He had a dream and he wanted to live in the moment. Full stop.
I don't care if you watch it or not. I am not recommending nor not recommending it. Watch it for Johnny Depp. Full stop.

Australia's Fickleness
What a fickle and pathetic place Australia is becoming. Like a popularity contest, or a celebrity tv show, we Australians expect our Prime Minister, Premiers, Ministers of State to be attractive, sporty, easy to work for and desirable.
Instead of finally relishing in a hardworking, bi-lingual, compassionate and visionary leader, a true LEADER, we punished him for being a tough boss.
Here is his list of accomplishments in TWO AND A HALF YEARS! Which one would you rather he did not do so he could remain 'popular'?
Here is his final speech as PM, found as a transcript on the THIRD page of Google. How pathetic a country..so quick to forget the horrors of the Coalitions rule.
"I was elected by the Australian people as Prime Minister of this country to bring back a fair go for all Australians and I have given my absolute best to do that, I've given it my absolute all. In that spirit I am proud of the achievements that we have delivered to make this country fairer.
I'm proud of the fact that we kept Australia out of the global
economic recession. I'm proud of the fact that had we not done so we
would have had a half a million Australians out there out of work,
because that's what happened around the rest of the world.
I'm proud of the fact that we got rid of Workchoices and restored
decency to the workplace.
I'm proud of the fact that we started to build the nation's
infrastructure including a National Broadband Network which I
fundamentally believe will transform this economy in ways which we
have yet to conceive, fundamentally transform our businesses and the
way in which Governments operate, health services are delivered and
the way in which education is delivered in our classrooms. The missing
piece of 21st century kit for our country.
I'm proud of the fact that we have begun the education revolution.
300,000 extra computers in classrooms; that's a pretty big thing for a
kid in a classroom who has never seen a computer on their desk before.
I'm proud of the fact that we now have Trades Training Centres built
to service every one of our nation's secondary schools.
I'm proud of the fact that new libraries are springing up right across
the country, often in schools which have never had a library before in
their lives, or in some places, have never had a new building built in
their schools since the War.
I'm proud of the fact that we now have nationwide early childhood education.
I'm proud of the fact that we now have a national curriculum for our
schools, for every State of our nation and the Territories.
I'm proud of the fact that we now have 50,000 more university places
and the fact that we have invested so much more in our universities,
in our research.
I'm really proud of the fact that we've reformed the health system; a
National Health and Hospitals network. When we look back on this in a
decade's time, and the fact that we've made the Australian Government,
for the first time in our history, the dominant funder of our nation's
public hospital system. This will be seen as a very, very deep reform.
I'm proud of the fact that we are building 20 regional cancer centres
right across our country. You know if you go out there and people are
suffering from cancer, it does alter your priorities. Many of those
folk have never had decent cancers services before, never, and I was
always stunned by the fact that people out there are three times more
likely to die in the first years of their diagnosis through the lack
of services. We've done something to change that, and it's big. It's
the biggest investment in cancer services our nation has ever seen.
I'm proud of the fact, and some people have probably never heard of
this one, that we have a National Organ Transplant Authority. As
somebody who borrowed someone else's aortic valve I feel a particular
responsibility for that. There's nothing like having a bit of somebody
else in you, it focuses the mind and in my case also focuses the
heart. What I'm really pleased about in the last two months is the
organ donation rates for the first time have started to rise. People
now are getting transplants because we chose to make a difference.
That's the funny thing about health isn't it, has an effect on you.
I'm proud of the fact that we've restored decency to the aged pension,
it's pretty important, making sure that people on the aged pension
have some capacity for human dignity. An extra $100 is the biggest
increase in the pension's history.
I'm proud of the fact that we now have paid parental leave, it's been
a long time coming.
I'm proud of what we've done on homelessness. I'm proud of the fact
that we're on track to halve homelessness in this country through work
like common ground in which Therese is directly involved.
I'm proud of the fact that we're adding 20,000 additional units of
social housing. I can't stand it when you go to places and there is
literally no place at the inn.
I'm proud of the fact that the first thing we did in Government was
ratify the Kyoto protocol. I'm also proud of the fact that we boosted
the renewable energy target to 20 per cent. I'm proud of the fact that
we tried three times to get an emissions trading scheme through this
parliament, although we failed. And, if I had one point of future
policy it must be our ambition to pass a Carbon Pollution Reduction
Scheme within this parliament, the one that follows, I mean, so that
we can make a difference, a real difference, to climate change.
I'm proud of the fact that we now have, for the first time in the
country's history, a Murray-Darling Basin Authority, and for the first
time in our history a basin-wide plan and a basin-wide cap on water.
Also proud of the fact that on the global stage Australia is now at
the table of the G20. This is big for the country. When we look back
on that in 10 years' time, having a place at the table when stuff goes
wrong around the world is pretty useful. We lobbied hard and long for
that. It is a good achievement for Australia for the future.
I'm proud of the fact that we are closing the gap between Indigenous
and non-Indigenous Australians. Little things and big things: putting
hundreds of Indigenous kids with scholarships into our nation's
leading boarding schools; backing such things as the Clontarf Academy,
now 22 of them we fund around the nation, to get kids to school and
boost their attendance by providing AFL training. I'm proud of the
fact that we're behind a commitment to create 50,000 additional jobs
for Indigenous Australians with the private sector, and I'm most proud
of the fact that about here, we greeted the stolen generations.
As Therese reminded me, that was a big day. What I remember most about
it, for those of you who weren't here, was as the stolen generations
came in from over there, they were frightened. Our job was to make
them welcome.
The Apology was unfinished business for our nation. It is the
beginning of new business for our nation.
What I'm less proud of is the fact that I have now blubbered.
I hope I've been able to demonstrate to you that this has been a very
busy two and a half years. We have thrown our absolute all at this and
I believe when we look back at this these reforms will endure into the
future and make Australia, I believe, a fairer and better place than
it would otherwise have been."

Hell of a Week
From Saturday when I had to step aside and leave the situation and be on my own regarding the woman who gave birth to my man ( "mother" is too good a word for her) so he could visit and do 'HIS' thing, to a day of doctors, tests and stress, to catching up with work, like mowing, cutting down a tree, cleaning and walking goddess, I have to smile when others say; 'What DO you do all week'?
This being 'ill' is a full time job.
Having to keep reminding the self that personal aim is to learn how to be myself.
Keep reminding myself;
"What do YOU want to do. What do you want to eat. Where do you want to go"?
It is so foreign to me.
So I guess the feeling is 'nautiness' when I am being 'me.'
Keeping on trying.
It is exhausting and scary.

SK
So worried about the son and heir.
He says.".'Tis typical for OCT/NOV that the sabre rattling occurs".
We want to say; 'COME HOME'.
But;
We are good and silent parents. Honourable and kind. Thoughtful and patient. Allowing the child to rule their own life.
We are scared, but in an accepting way.
He is our life.
Our child we bore and held and put to the breast.
But halfway up from here is a country we cannot imagine. The idea that bombing others is 'reasonable' or to pull a gun out or to use violence, or the threat to hurt is foreign to us.
So there our baby is,
Our 33 year old baby.
He says;
Hold fast and remember it will be ok. This happens every year at this time. Just a bit more full on now.
So....
We will hold our counsel, our hearts in our mouths and our hopes high.
COME HOME!

Dog OWNERS!
I am so goddammed sick of idiotic stupid dog owners.
I am so fed up with humans who have no right to own a budgie let alone a dangerous breed if they are not trained and dog whispered properly from 8 weeks.
Walking my dog and around the corner a dog appeared suddenly, loose. It was a pure bred German Shepherd. It frightened me as it came straight toward Abbie, I yelled 'no no' like I usually do, but it took no notice of me. I kept myself between it and Abbie. The owners came around the corner with another GS on a lead and a Staffie pup on a harness...The owner said of the German Shepherd; "Its not aggressive" .
I said "THAT IS NOT THE POINT'..she then said..."Well I bet THAT one is!" pointing to Abbie.
.I said no she is NOT!
The other lady with the staffie said. "Oh this one bites...it is only 4months old!!"...I said mine does not, she wants to play and I walked off. I was so pissed off that the woman wasn't ever TRYING to discipline her pup staffie when it was pulling to get a go at Abbie...If she is not disciplining NOW it will be a 'red zone' case within two months!!!
I was so so angry with the woman who said that about Abbie....Abbie was on leash, with poo bags attached. She had these pathetic over bred German Shepherds that are deformed and can't walk properly because of the 'desirable' traits of GS!! She was common as muck as well. I actually 'bit' the dog because it got so close but it had no interest in me...shows that it has no leadership at all..it IS the leader.
So sick of other peoples' dogs!!! So fucking sick of them...This place must have the highest dog population in the region!! Most have at least one and up to three dogs each house.
After a cocker spaniel came at Abbie two days ago I am so on alert when I walk. I cannot use my new (second hand) ipod given to me by my sister when I walk. I have to hear what is going on around me and be aware of standing my ground and disciplining other peoples recalcitrant animals.
Oh for a proper dog dept within our council area!!!

Holding Back
"A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent"
There is an understanding that to make a peoples, a nation, a community, richer, more sustainable and more caring EDUCATE the women.
What on earth has religion done!
It has destroyed millions of lives by their rules of subjugation of women, and Christianity is one of the worst.
Why didn't women stand up earlier to fight these ridiculous ideas?
Because as the oppressed it is hard to fight against those that hold the say of life and death over you and your children.
Because as a group women were physically subservient to the requirements of men.
Because the idea of 'rape in marriage' was a nonsense until quite recently and the fact that the law sided with the male when there was a breakdown of marriage women were always and still are poorer after the dissolving of the relationship. Men had automatic rights over womens bodies, inheritence, lives and even their children. Women owned NOTHING.
What a devil of a thing religion is, full of hatred, scorn and bitterness. There is not ONE bit of 'fairness' when it comes to women let alone the rights of indigenes or the poor.
For Christ to say; "The poor are always with us" is the most disgraceful declaration uttered by this so called 'son of god'.
If you realise that he never existed it is easier to realise that all that was 'translated' and followed from the Jews down, was for the powerful to get their piece of flesh. That piece of flesh was usually a woman's.
So;
Look to your declarations, to your precepts, to your tenets and show me how they have ever benefited those who are 51% of the worlds population.
Then;
Bugga off!!!

10/10/10
And so thirty one years ago at this very time a baby girl was pushed into the world, gently, quietly, softly and put to the breast. No gowning, no sterilised ward, no fussing machines, no bossy doctors or nurses. Just an accepting doctor who believed a woman's body knew what to do as well as an attentive and still midwife who murmured reassurances as required.
Her eyes opened in wonder, no cry left her lips. She looked directly into my eyes as she was lifted onto my stomach, as the lights were dimmed so as not to pierce the newborn sight.
The main person present was the dad. He calmly lifted the new born from her place on my front and placed her in the bath and swooshed her up and down.
Her face fell back into an ecstacy and her fingers grasped her fathers. Her ears uncoiled from her head and opened like a butterfly's wing, transparent and beautifully pink.
She turned her head and caught my gaze. I took a breath, supped in like honey, and held it as I studied her naked beauty. She was a nice size, a nice colour and a nice slender length.
I fell in love with her, this baby of mine, in the dim light of a birthing centre. From that very moment she taught me to take care with what I said, how I said it and to keep things as even as possible.
It was not always possible.
But I tried.
I was twenty six years old, just.
And she is now thirty one.
And has not had this experience.
How sad.
Well...not yet.
It is a gift to all women to be able to take control as much as they can of this life affirming event. It makes you feel strong, able, loved, supported and knowing. You KNOW without a doubt the purpose of life. You have felt it in your body, moving, kicking, sliding, hiccoughing, squeezing the breath out of you. And then YOU squeeze the life into it.
I am fifty seven.
I can relive this like it was now.
How sad I am for mankind, man-kind, for they have to develop pretend friends, and pretend power and pretend strengths in an attempt to equal this event.
They never ever will.
And so with the help and support of good and honest medical people and a wonderful and caring man, I was able to have this experience, three times in my life.
If you want to know why I don't believe in god, then understand this; nothing can ever replace that as the experience of life giving goodness and mercy. It is the very being, essence of life itself. There is no need of a god, a pretend being, a pretend invisible friend. For within the growing womb was the the thing invisible to all but me and then it came into being, by, through, because of the two of us.
Without all those thousands of ancestors that went before this one human would not be here.
Happy Birthday to my most amazing daughter.

Norman - Vale
NORMAN WISDOM 1915-2010
Here is the man who personified my youth, my growing in laughter, my father's sense of the absurd.
He is the one who when people say to me; "Goodness you are easy to make laugh" I think of in my childhood.
I have a book, called "Film Fun" put out by British film companies of the 1950's. He is on the back cover.
Norman embarrassed me and delighted me. He made me believe that we different people could 'get the girl in the end'.
I remember one scene when he was signing up for the armed forces in a British comedy. He was so embarrassed by his top nakedness that he got left his neck tie on and used it to cover his aeriola's. I was so embarrassed by this as a pre-teen, but also delighted by his overt coyness. It definitely mirrored my own.
So Norman...you lived a long and useful life. You were the epitome of the 'little man' who had a heart and had a sense of right.
Thank you;
Vale.
I shall remember you with a smile.

Rain and Other things
The rain slices sideways toward the windows in the gale of off shore winds. The river and creeks are swollen and the inhabitants hold their breaths. Fresh, clear, runoff is wasted sluicing down the gutters and drains of a dry country. This land is ancient and hungry for moisture.
Yet, here it is, deluged and swamped with water from the sky off the sea, from the land of this desert place.
What fools are we.
What amazingly stupid and arrogant idiots to mis-use such bounty.
But it has been ever thus.
And across the world is an old poor country setting itself up as a great host to rich and elite sportspeople. Whilst their millions ache with the stench of need, their government sets up running water and four walls for visitors without conscience.
And admist all this, a phone call from South Korea.
He explains his forgetfulness ....about friends visiting and being the perfect host and I nod and say; "Of course you have a life".
Then he begins his gift; a gift of words and realisations.
He talks on how it is that I am his mother and what I gave, dedicated, provided and finally, what I did to let him/them go. How hard was that he muses.
It was painful and awe-filled but necessary.
No, we say to 'well meaning' folk; we cannot go and visit any of them in different countries or states. We sit in our little hole and hold each other for warmth as we await their visitations like a religious disciple awaiting the coming of their Lord.
And so the rain pours and the tears have flowed from the eyes of a mother too much in love to be sane.
She/me has been to hell and back (in my own way) and now turn to a professional to put it all in place. A professional paid for by the tax payer.
The rain slaps and screams itself agains our home and the love for my children slaps and screams its way from my womanhood to the cosmos.
I am reborn.
Rain giveth, children giveth....and life will take me away through my death, from the very things I treasure.
Such is life.

New Knowledge
Whilst perusing the written work and also some interviews on line with the great Christopher Hitchens ( who speaks for me) I came across two people of whom I knew nothing.
Firstly; A Philip Randolph http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A._Philip_Randolph
Secondly; Bayard Rustin http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bayard_Rustin
I quickly and thankfully googled their names and read extensively about their amazing lives.
Apparently these two great American men's names have been slowly slipping from the consciousness of the American history books.
This is sad and a traversty.
Their courage, their intelligence and determination speaks to the world of the great 'possibility' of democracy and freedom that was always the USA of my youth. How small America has become in its hell bent need to incorporate a god into everything they say, sing and declare. It could, by now be such a huge example as big as the amazing geography on which it physically stands. (Sometimes when watching the travelogues of the USA it takes my breath away at what a Natural gift that Land really is!!)
These men, these black men, are nothing short of heroic, in the true sense of the word, in their personal beliefs, in their private lives or in their guts to stand up for the rights of others.
How tiresome that the USA who fought two wars WITH Communists still has this left -over McCarthyistic attitude to those who believe in a truly Socialist way of sharing the wealth so that everyone will be taken care.
It also came to my attention that the American Constitution when first created, penned, considered and accepted was far more exact and determined in its precept in the separation of State and Religion.
The examples of how this could have gone 'pear shaped' in several States before the unification is palpable and proves the very reason of its importance. (eg Georgia, Maryland )
It seems that the 'Constitooshun' can be quoted, nay verballed, so quickly by those wanting to protect their own misbehaviours when in fact is a far more complex and demanding document. (In saying that I wish ours was as comprehensive and independent).
{The misunderstanding and mis-intent of 'right to bear arms' has already been addressed by me in other posts, but for those wanting a curb on the gun laws should revisit it and educate the masses.}
The co author with Thomas Jefferson, James Madison (author of Article 6: No chaplains to Congress or to the Armed Forces) would probably be considered not only 'un American' but subversive now. Even those espousing his/their intent may be considered traitors.
The clarity with how important the 'religious' were to be treated for the sake of the true 'freedom' Americans espouse is set down firmly and overtly in this great document. (That is religion should NOT get a look in anywhere in public life!)
HOWEVER it palls somewhat, not only as an 'outsider' but as an atheist to see, hear, and watch the religious take over of the American State. The number of 'false prophets' banging on and becoming rich is overwhelming and the need for the purging of same is imperitive eg.
By learning, reading and becoming aware of these great men, I am finding myself falling in love with USA as it could be, as it was expected and hoped to be by its (white) founders.
As Christopher writes ( now living, and sadly, dying in the USA) "Religions poison everything". It truly does!

Another birthday
It has been over six years since I first blogged my little frog blog.
And here I am another year has passed and I managed to stay alive in my own world of toil, trouble and beauty.
I feel melancholy as the first of September approaches remembering my father's little blurb of:
"I love it when it is Sring time as it reminds me of my father getting ready to plough and plant and it brings memories of a little girl born in Springtime."
My dad's saying this every year etched in my cell memory the great parents I had. They loved each other more than they loved anyone or anything else...(except dad's god when he got older and had an epiphany).
We three children were a mere reflection of their love for one an other. We were not put first nor considered above the 'other'. We had our place in their lives and we were constantly reminded of it. This brought to me, the youngest, a feeling of security and surety. This is a nice thing to travel your childhood with.
Although he was opinionated, bigotted, prejudiced and racist, my dad was a loving man and would never show these traits too openly, well, not till you got him talking. And boy could he talk!
He talked and talked and talked and when he was not talking he was singing. He sang and sang and sang.
He hit me a couple of times in my life, times I can actually remember so it mustn't have been that many. They were enough for me to know that I would never hit my children. The last time he hit me I was 12 years of age. I stood there and said to him; "If you ever do that again, I will hit you back". This gruff and overbearing man looked askance and turned on his heel and walked back to his beloved garden. He never touched me again in anger.
My mum was the softest human around. She was kind, considerate and ruled by her upbringing. That pretentious and precarious upbringing. One that because she was NOT touched lovingly by her mum she was determined she WOULD touch us lovingly. And so some personalities learn from the horrors of their past and move on and up. She did so well for a woman of her times who believed a lady never swore, denigrate her family, speak of money nor your 'circumstances'. She never thought of herself as anything than my father's wife. It never occurred to her that she could have had a separate life, a separate career with separate likes and dislikes. She just melded into my father. She was always "MRS" never her own name.
And so I remember the smell of my mothers neck and the smell of my fathers hands. She smelt of fresh powder and he smelt of the earth and work.
For a week or so before my birthdays I weep every now again. I weep for the past, the delights of childhood for the three presents a year each of us got with such anticipation and for that delicious feeling of being safe and sound inside my parents home and heart.
And now I am fifty seven.
By the time my mother was my age she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
My whole life since then has been bound up with illness and loss.
In between times there has been joy. Joy of love and sex and babies and sunsets and cool waters to swim in.
There has been surprises of pride in my children's abilities and in my own pain.
It has been a hell of a ride and throughout my Christian Era I was dazzled by guilt, loss of place being female, sexual frustration from being denied the right to my own bodies amazing capacity for great cataclysmic waves.
At the ripe age of 42 I let go of the nonsense, the story telling lies of controlling men and flew effortlessly into the atheistic era where freedom reigned.
I have no 'hopes' for the future any longer. I used to have them...you know, children marrying, having babies, turning to me to hold them...but the pain of my own childrens lives has been almost killing in its cruelty.
The chaos and unfairness of life is sometimes overwhelming.
So I no longer look ahead. I look inward. I am studying my self. And hopefully by the time I shuffle off I will have had that 'aha' moment to beat ALL aha moments and then I will kark it. Become worm food and blissful oblivion will surround my nothingness. Ahhh...stillness...
So;
Fat, happy/unhappy, aching, wheezing, aging Alison; Happy birthday to you and to the body that has carried you thus far with all it failings, its having names called and its ugliness to the sight of others. Happy happy day when I gave joy to my parents for just being theirs, a mistake of a night of passion, and a girl who did her best by both of them.
All together now; ....."Happy...birrrrthdaaaa.....etc.

Pour vous mon amie Americans
This gives me great hope for the USA and the World.
Slowly the rise of rationalists will over come the bigotry and prejudices of those who believe in an imaginery friend.
Never thought I would see it happening overtly in the USA.
It is more common to believe in Angels in America than to be an atheist.
Time is on our side!!

You Wouldn't Believe It!!
I want to thank the producer of this website for the information.
I have included the link so that the convener will get correct billing.
You wouldn't believe it, but I would say 98% of what is written here is my mother in law.
Gee I wish I had known ...oh about 35 years ago...might have saved me many years of angst, trying, pain, crushed beliefs, dedication and love that was pissed up against a wall.
Having now been in counselling for a couple of months, my counseller and my GP have both told me to stay away from my mother in law. She is toxic to me.
Well according to this link she is toxic to EVERYONE.
I was told by a psychologist about 6 years ago that my mother in law as a sociopathic/psychotic.
I knew a little of what that meant after having it explained to me, I then did some research online and came up with "Somatoform Disorder/ Conversion Disorder". I told her GP.
He said, did nothing.
Now I know why.
Finally four months ago a specialist spoke with us, the family, and declared "Conversion disorder" for this, the 26 'stroke' of my mother in law.
We knew but no doctor, GP, specialist, psychologist had ever revealed this to us, in 37 years.
It was gradually revealed to us by her sisters that 'this' had been occurring since she was at least 13.
Now we know and now I am sad to realise there is notthing I can do.
The man got a phone call of abuse..screaming, crying and finally hanging up upon.
Then four weeks later a phone call of 'sorry;' not for what she said about me or how she affected him, just that he refused to play her game and did not contact her. THAT is what she was sorry about.
Now we know. She did not mean the sorry at all...
She has just set up another 'take'....she is defrauding the home help.
She has defrauded insurance, grew and sold drugs and has many instances of wanting to sue people and companies.
For money.
So I have added the whole site to this blog to expose, explain and recognise the full extent of my mother in laws personality and problem.
It was NEVER mine. It is not helpful in knowing that ..for as the site says...by that time you are so battered by the manipulation that you are scarred.
Profile of the Sociopath
This website summarizes some of the common features of descriptions of the behavior of sociopaths.
Glibness and Superficial Charm
Manipulative and Conning
They never recognize the rights of others and see their self-serving behaviors as permissible. They appear to be charming, yet are covertly hostile and domineering, seeing their victim as merely an instrument to be used. They may dominate and humiliate their victims.
Grandiose Sense of Self
Feels entitled to certain things as "their right."
Pathological Lying
Has no problem lying coolly and easily and it is almost impossible for them to be truthful on a consistent basis. Can create, and get caught up in, a complex belief about their own powers and abilities. Extremely convincing and even able to pass lie detector tests.
Lack of Remorse, Shame or Guilt
A deep seated rage, which is split off and repressed, is at their core. Does not see others around them as people, but only as targets and opportunities. Instead of friends, they have victims and accomplices who end up as victims. The end always justifies the means and they let nothing stand in their way.
Shallow Emotions
When they show what seems to be warmth, joy, love and compassion it is more feigned than experienced and serves an ulterior motive. Outraged by insignificant matters, yet remaining unmoved and cold by what would upset a normal person. Since they are not genuine, neither are their promises.
Incapacity for Love
Need for Stimulation
Living on the edge. Verbal outbursts and physical punishments are normal. Promiscuity and gambling are common.
Callousness/Lack of Empathy
Unable to empathize with the pain of their victims, having only contempt for others' feelings of distress and readily taking advantage of them.
Poor Behavioral Controls/Impulsive Nature
Rage and abuse, alternating with small expressions of love and approval produce an addictive cycle for abuser and abused, as well as creating hopelessness in the victim. Believe they are all-powerful, all-knowing, entitled to every wish, no sense of personal boundaries, no concern for their impact on others.
Early Behavior Problems/Juvenile Delinquency
Usually has a history of behavioral and academic difficulties, yet "gets by" by conning others. Problems in making and keeping friends; aberrant behaviors such as cruelty to people or animals, stealing, etc.
Irresponsibility/Unreliability
Not concerned about wrecking others' lives and dreams. Oblivious or indifferent to the devastation they cause. Does not accept blame themselves, but blames others, even for acts they obviously committed.
Promiscuous Sexual Behavior/Infidelity
Promiscuity, child sexual abuse, rape and sexual acting out of all sorts.
Lack of Realistic Life Plan/Parasitic Lifestyle
Tends to move around a lot or makes all encompassing promises for the future, poor work ethic but exploits others effectively.
Criminal or Entrepreneurial Versatility
Changes their image as needed to avoid prosecution. Changes life story readily.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Other Related Qualities:
Contemptuous of those who seek to understand them
Does not perceive that anything is wrong with them
Authoritarian
Secretive
Paranoid
Only rarely in difficulty with the law, but seeks out situations where their tyrannical behavior will be tolerated, condoned, or admired
Conventional appearance
Goal of enslavement of their victim(s)
Exercises despotic control over every aspect of the victim's life
Has an emotional need to justify their crimes and therefore needs their victim's affirmation (respect, gratitude and love)
Ultimate goal is the creation of a willing victim
Incapable of real human attachment to another
Unable to feel remorse or guilt
Extreme narcissism and grandiose
May state readily that their goal is to rule the world
(The above traits are based on the psychopathy checklists of H. Cleckley and R. Hare.)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTE: In the 1830's this disorder was called "moral insanity." By 1900 it was changed to "psychopathic personality." More recently it has been termed "antisocial personality disorder" in the DSM-III and DSM-IV. Some critics have complained that, in the attempt to rely only on 'objective' criteria, the DSM has broadened the concept to include too many individuals. The APD category includes people who commit illegal, immoral or self-serving acts for a variety of reasons and are not necessarily psychopaths.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DSM-IV Definition
Antisocial personality disorder is characterized by a lack of regard for the moral or legal standards in the local culture. There is a marked inability to get along with others or abide by societal rules. Individuals with this disorder are sometimes called psychopaths or sociopaths.
Diagnostic Criteria (DSM-IV)
1. Since the age of fifteen there has been a disregard for and violation of the right's of others, those right's considered normal by the local culture, as indicated by at least three of the following:
A. Repeated acts that could lead to arrest.
B. Conning for pleasure or profit, repeated lying, or the use of aliases.
C. Failure to plan ahead or being impulsive.
D. Repeated assaults on others.
E. Reckless when it comes to their or others safety.
F. Poor work behavior or failure to honor financial obligations.
G. Rationalizing the pain they inflict on others.
2. At least eighteen years in age.
3. Evidence of a Conduct Disorder, with its onset before the age of fifteen.
4. Symptoms not due to another mental disorder.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Antisocial Personality Disorder Overview (Written by Derek Wood, RN, BSN, PhD Candidate)
Antisocial Personality Disorder results in what is commonly known as a Sociopath. The criteria for this disorder require an ongoing disregard for the rights of others, since the age of 15 years. Some examples of this disregard are reckless disregard for the safety of themselves or others, failure to conform to social norms with respect to lawful behaviors, deceitfulness such as repeated lying or deceit for personal profit or pleasure, and lack of remorse for actions that hurt other people in any way. Additionally, they must have evidenced a Conduct Disorder before the age of 15 years, and must be at least 18 years old to receive this diagnosis.
People with this disorder appear to be charming at times, and make relationships, but to them, these are relationships in name only. They are ended whenever necessary or when it suits them, and the relationships are without depth or meaning, including marriages. They seem to have an innate ability to find the weakness in people, and are ready to use these weaknesses to their own ends through deceit, manipulation, or intimidation, and gain pleasure from doing so.
They appear to be incapable of any true emotions, from love to shame to guilt. They are quick to anger, but just as quick to let it go, without holding grudges. No matter what emotion they state they have, it has no bearing on their future actions or attitudes.
They rarely are able to have jobs that last for any length of time, as they become easily bored, instead needing constant change. They live for the moment, forgetting the past, and not planning the future, not thinking ahead what consequences their actions will have. They want immediate rewards and gratification. There currently is no form of psychotherapy that works with those with antisocial personality disorder, as those with this disorder have no desire to change themselves, which is a prerequisite. No medication is available either. The only treatment is the prevention of the disorder in the early stages, when a child first begins to show the symptoms of conduct disorder.

THE PSYCHOPATH NEXT DOOR (Source: http://chericola57.tripod.com/infinite.html)
Psychopath. We hear the word and images of Bernardo, Manson and Dahmer pop into our heads; no doubt Ted Bundy too. But they're the bottom of the barrel -- most of the two million psychopaths in North America aren't murderers. They're our friends, lovers and co-workers. They're outgoing and persuasive, dazzling you with charm and flattery. Often you aren't even aware they've taken you for a ride -- until it's too late.
Psychopaths exhibit a Jekyll and Hyde personality. "They play a part so they can get what they want," says Dr. Sheila Willson, a Toronto psychologist who has helped victims of psychopaths. The guy who showers a woman with excessive attention is much more capable of getting her to lend him money, and to put up with him when he strays. The new employee who gains her co-workers' trust has more access to their chequebooks. And so on. Psychopaths have no conscience and their only goal is self-gratification. Many of us have been their victims -- at work, through friendships or relationships -- and not one of us can say, "a psychopath could never fool me."
Think you can spot one? Think again. In general, psychopaths aren't the product of broken homes or the casualties of a materialistic society. Rather they come from all walks of life and there is little evidence that their upbringing affects them. Elements of a psychopath's personality first become evident at a very early age, due to biological or genetic factors. Explains Michael Seto, a psychologist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental health in Toronto, by the time that a person hits their late teens, the disorder is almost certainly permanent. Although many clinicians use the terms psychopath and sociopath interchangeably, writes psychopath expert Robert Hare on his book 'Without Conscience', a sociopath's criminal behavior is shaped by social forces and is the result of a dysfunctional environment.
Psychopaths have only a shallow range of emotions and lack guilt, says Hare. They often see themselves as victims, and lack remorse or the ability to empathize with others. "Psychopaths play on the fact that most of us are trusting and forgiving people," adds Seto. The warning signs are always there; it's just difficult to see them because once we trust someone, the friendship becomes a blinder.
Even lovers get taken for a ride by psychopaths. For a psychopath, a romantic relationship is just another opportunity to find a trusting partner who will buy into the lies. It's primarily why a psychopath rarely stays in a relationship for the long term, and often is involved with three or four partners at once, says Willson. To a psychopath, everything about a relationship is a game. Willson refers to the movie 'Sliding Doors' to illustrate her point. In the film, the main character comes home early after just having been fired from her job. Only moments ago, her boyfriend has let another woman out the front door. But in a matter of minutes he is the attentive and concerned boyfriend, taking her out to dinner and devoting the entire night to comforting her. All the while he's planning to leave the next day on a trip with the other woman.
The boyfriend displays typical psychopathic characteristics because he falsely displays deep emotion toward the relationship, says Willson. In reality, he's less concerned with his girlfriend's depression than with making sure she's clueless about the other woman's existence. In the romance department, psychopaths have an ability to gain your affection quickly, disarming you with words, intriguing you with grandiose plans. If they cheat you'll forgive them, and one day when they've gone too far, they'll leave you with a broken heart (and an empty wallet). By then they'll have a new player for their game.
The problem with their game is that we don't often play by their rules. Where we might occasionally tell a white lie, a psychopath's lying is compulsive. Most of us experience some degree of guilt about lying, preventing us from exhibiting such behavior on a regular basis. "Psychopaths don't discriminate who it is they lie to or cheat," says Seto. "There's no distinction between friend, family and sucker."
No one wants to be the sucker, so how do we prevent ourselves from becoming close friends or getting into a relationship with a psychopath? It's really almost impossible, say Seto and Willson. Unfortunately, laments Seto, one way is to become more suspicious and less trusting of others. Our tendency is to forgive when we catch a loved one in a lie. "Psychopaths play on this fact," he says. "However, I'm certainly not advocating a world where if someone lies once or twice, you never speak to them again." What you can do is look at how often someone lies and how they react when caught. Psychopaths will lie over and over again, and where other people would sincerely apologize, a psychopath may apologize but won't stop.
Psychopaths also tend to switch jobs as frequently as they switch partners, mainly because they don't have the qualities to maintain a job for the long haul. Their performance is generally erratic, with chronic absences, misuse of company resources and failed commitments. Often they aren't even qualified for the job and use fake credentials to get it. Seto talks of a patient who would get marketing jobs based on his image; he was a presentable and charming man who layered his conversations with educational and occupational references. But it became evident that the man hadn't a clue what he was talking about, and was unable to hold down a job.
How do you make sure you don't get fooled when you're hiring someone to baby-sit your child or for any other job? Hire based on reputation and not image, says Willson. Check references thoroughly. Psychopaths tend to give vague and inconsistent replies. Of course the best way to solve this problem would be to cure psychopaths of their 'illness.' But there's no recipe for treating them, say psychiatrists. Today's traditional methods of psychotherapy (psychoanalysis, group and one-on-one therapy) and drug treatments have failed. Therapy is more likely to work when an individual admits there's a problem and wants to change. The common problem with psychopaths, says Sets, "Is they don't see a problem with their behavior."
Psychopaths don't seek therapy willingly, says Seto. Rather, they're pushed into it by a desperate relative or by a court order. To a psychopath, a therapist is just one more person who must be conned, and the psychopath plays the part right until the therapist is convinced of his or her 'rehabilitation.'
Even though we can't treat psychopaths effectively with therapy, it doesn't mean we can't protect ourselves, writes Hare. Willson agrees, citing the most important factor in keeping psychopaths at bay is to know your vulnerabilities. We need to "realize our own potential and maximize our strengths" so that our insecurities don't overcome us. Because, she says, a psychopath is a chameleon who becomes "an image of what you haven't done for yourself." Over time, she says, "their appearance of perfection will begin to crack," but by that time you will have been emotionally and perhaps financially scathed. There comes a time when you realize there's no point in searching for answers; the only thing is to move on.

THE MALIGNANT PERSONALITY:
These people are mentally ill and extremely dangerous! The following precautions will help to protect you from the destructive acts of which they are capable.
First, to recognize them, keep the following guidelines in mind.
(1) They are habitual liars. They seem incapable of either knowing or telling the truth about anything.
(2) They are egotistical to the point of narcissism. They really believe they are set apart from the rest of humanity by some special grace.
(3) They scapegoat; they are incapable of either having the insight or willingness to accept responsibility for anything they do. Whatever the problem, it is always someone else's fault.
(4) They are remorselessly vindictive when thwarted or exposed.
(5) Genuine religious, moral, or other values play no part in their lives. They have no empathy for others and are capable of violence. Under older psychological terminology, they fall into the category of psychopath or sociopath, but unlike the typical psychopath, their behavior is masked by a superficial social facade.
If you have come into conflict with such a person or persons, do the following immediately!
(1) Notify your friends and relatives of what has happened.
Do not be vague. Name names, and specify dates and circumstances. Identify witnesses if possible and provide supporting documentation if any is available.
(2) Inform the police. The police will do nothing with this information except to keep it on file, since they are powerless to act until a crime has been committed. Unfortunately, that often is usually too late for the victim. Nevertheless, place the information in their hands.
Obviously, if you are assaulted or threatened before witnesses, you can get a restraining order, but those are palliative at best.
(3) Local law enforcement agencies are usually under pressure if wealthy or politically powerful individuals are involved, so include state and federal agencies as well and tell the locals that you have. In my own experience, one agency that can help in a pinch is the Criminal Investigation Division of the Internal Revenue Service or (in Canada) Victims Services at your local police unit. It is not easy to think of the IRS as a potential friend, but a Swedish study showed that malignant types (the Swedes called them bullies) usually commit some felony or other by the age of twenty. If the family is wealthy, the fact may never come to light, but many felonies involve tax evasion, and in such cases, the IRS is interested indeed. If large amounts of money are involved, the IRS may solve all your problems for you. For obvious reasons the Drug Enforcement Agency may also be an appropriate agency to approach. The FBI is an important agency to contact, because although the FBI does not have jurisdiction over murder or assault, if informed, they do have an active interest in any other law enforcement agencies that do not follow through with an honest investigation and prosecution should a murder occur. Civil rights are involved at that point. No local crooked lawyer, judge, or corrupt police official wants to be within a country mile if that comes to light! It is in such cases that wealthy psychopaths discover just how firm the "friends" they count on to cover up for them really are! Even some of the drug cartel biggies will scuttle for cover if someone picks up the brick their thugs hide under. Exposure is bad for business.
(4) Make sure that several of your friends have the information in the event something happens to you. That way, an appropriate investigation will follow if you are harmed. Don't tell other people who has the information, because then something bad could happen to them as well. Instruct friends to take such an incident to the newspapers and other media.
If you are dealing with someone who has considerable money, you must realize that they probably won't try to harm you themselves, they will contract with someone to make the hit. The malignant type is a coward and will not expose himself or herself to personal danger if he or she can avoid it.

Update: A thorough article. You may also find more at http://sociopathworld.com/.
I, the creator of this site, am not a psychologist and no special expertise in the subject. I created the site as a public service, because no similar site existed in 2003. I occasionally get sad calls and emails. I urge you to consult either a clinical psychologist or the police depending on the problem you face, and wish you good luck.
Hare.)

Hanging around
So...
We are to have a 'hung parliament'.
I am so so disappointed that the Australian people did not make a clear choice..no that is not true..I am shocked and disgusted that the Australian people even CONSIDERED that toe-rag of an opposition , leader and all, to take control of our politcal processes.
After the 11 and 1/2 years of the war mongering GWB arse licking little turd HoWARd, this "new' leader is in fact one of his old lackies. He is a 'good Catholic' does not like women to have control over their bodies, to be able to make their own choices, to be able to access all the medical help available.
He is anti gay a bigot and villifies asylum seekers...yes back to that old furphy...
(SCREAMS: STOP THE BOATS!!! STOP THE BOATS!!)
It would take over 20 years for their to be enough 'boat people' to fill the Melbourne Cricket Ground..Now the 'overstayers ' ( well they are usually British and White) well that would only take two years!!
So this ex boxer, ex wannabe priest, ex head kicker, ex lawyer, ex proper person, wants to take the reigns of power and somehow suck up to our four independents to form govt.
God how I will hate that.
I feel vindicated.
I said...I did not like the way that the Labor Party got rid of Kevin...I thought it was dirty, wrong, bad timing and downright immoral.
So the result of the election kinda shows that I was right, although the pundits say it 'would have been worse'...HOW FOR CHRISSAKES.
We have only had one fed hung parlt in 106 years..and that was during the war...WW11.
So here we sit in limbo...a country in limbo..things put on hold...grants, pledges, rules, regulations, new laws, payments, jobs, careers, governance, the workings of the wheels of Government...all on HOLD.
How on earth do you describe this to the rest of the world...the most stable of governments, the country who ducked the great Global Crises!! The country of the 'fair go' and the larrikan who does not believe in division on class, the country who comes to the aid of our richer, more powerful Allies...USA and Britain...who have now lost 8 of our sons to the Afghan war...because of a stupid Presidents need to have a war of his own.
I can't explain..
I do hope however that maybe this may be the beginning of a new beginning beginning to begin.
Well I can dream can't I?

My Question
The question is.....
After thirty seven years do I keep trying with a toxic soul-destroying mother in law?
No matter what I do or what I have done she still calls me 'that bitch'.
How can I remain true to myself, hold myself in high esteem and continue to feel ok with the hatred and vitriol in my ears.
During those years I have been bribed to not marry her son.
I have been encouraged to leave him on numerous occasions.
I have borne the brunt of anythng that has happened and gone 'wrong' in our life it is directly due to me.
It has been noted that because of me her son is poor.
I have been blamed for all that is wrong with her, her world and her sons health.
I have been a poor daughter in law, a bad wife, a cruel mother and a bitch.
I need to know how to deal with the next phone call ...I do not want to be rude, coz this is my husbands mother, but I no longer want to deal with her on any level.
I have been thoughtful, kind, generous, helpful, sharing my children, my husband, my knowledge, my compassion and my life.
For all that I am 'evil'.
Surely there must be a way to disconnect?
I have tried before, to do it within myself without withdrawing physically. Now I think it is time to withdraw physically.
Enough, surely?
THIRTY SEVEN YEARS..is that not enough to have tried?
After thirty seven years do I keep trying with a toxic soul-destroying mother in law?
No matter what I do or what I have done she still calls me 'that bitch'.
How can I remain true to myself, hold myself in high esteem and continue to feel ok with the hatred and vitriol in my ears.
During those years I have been bribed to not marry her son.

Years On.....
"SERVE WITH INTEGRITY, CARE ABOUT THOSE YOU SERVE, SHARE THE LOVE IN YOUR HEART AND SOUL".
So saith a nice man I met via blogging many years ago. He has it on all his posts and emails. I used to recoil from it then it became apart of who he was and meant to me.
This is for him.
Well he is the only one who reads my blogs now. So few and far between are they after the trauma of betrayal.
I want you to know . I like him. He is kind, thoughtful, a great dad and an amazing husband.
We in Australia do not take easily or readily to 'counselling', to 'therapy' to that American 'habit' of going to seek mental help.
We are suspicious, we are 'better than that' and we will 'do it hard' and show the world that we are 'larrikins' who know how to 'take it on the chin'.
So here I am.
I didn't know what was wrong, just that for years I have been feeling 'bad, inadequate and altogether gulity, shut down and fragile'.
The new Australian govt of 3 years ago set in place a 'right' to have 12 counselling sessions to try to stem the tide of depression and suicide that is rife and growing in our country.
So I took it to heart and asked my GP for referral.
Six sessions later I have learnt a lot.
One of the things I have learnt of the many is that, I have an integrity and sense of right, an honesty and a moral compass that sets me up as 'different' as 'special' as 'sensitive' to that what occurs around me, to me and to those I love. Not only that but to all humanity and to all animals. I am 'weird'. I am someone who is in the upper 'apex' of morality and social awareness.
To 'serve with integrity' is part of my make up. I can't help but to do so.
To 'care about those I serve' has caused me great damage. It stems back ( we found) to when I was around 2 1/2 years of age. Over the years I have been hurt, damaged and seered by the general ways of the average 'Joe'.
I am at once sensitive and intense. This combination is deadly to the soul. It makes for constant and deep scarring, forever and ever...(amen).
It is the way I am.
I am learning this.
From when I was tiny I have 'shared the love in my heart and soul' and for my pains I have reached a point of such pain that I can bearly function.
It is so.
My counsellor/therapist is helping me to realise this. Not to necessarily understand, but just to know this is who I am.
My mother in law has done great damage. She is toxic to my person. To my soul. Because I have shared and given and given and given for over 37 years I am now bent with the burden of the black hole of her sucking my soul and heart into her and spitting it back over me in a vomit of hatred and vileness.
I have been hurt, like most people...but with me because of the kind of person I am, I have given till it depleted who I was and the kind of people I gave to were not NOT the kind who filled me back up.
It was a rare thing that unlike love that 'the more you give the more you are filled' the integrity and sharing I gave was used against me, to hurt me and to hurt mine.
I take everything to heart.
Everything.
I feel for everyone...except I can't know how to 'feel' for the privileged.
I only know how to feel for those who hurt.
I do NOT get off on feeling good about people who are worse off than me.
I feel worse.
So...
for all my 'serving with integrity' ...I could do nothing else, as that is who I am, naturally.
To share is as natural to me as breathing, but you know, there are some humans in this world who do not understand what I am sharing. They do not respect nor care nor take as a fragile gift the thing I am sharing, ME.
I, know, I know....you are talking to the bottom part of the pyramid that make up the human intent...but ...dear man of America, you have to know your message cut through to someone who did not need it.
I love my blog friends....bird and Namaste and the man from Lansing, Dark Times and Pete and all....
You were there when I needed you...
But I didn't know myself.
So now after 50+ years I am learning who I am.
I am fragile. I am tired and I am depleted.
I am still here and for my man and our dog I shall continue.
However I must learn now, to not share too much my heart and soul and only show my integrity to those who can care for it.
I will not change, of course, but I will do better by keeping my own counsel and keeping my soul closer than before.
Thank you, dear Yankee man.

Dog Whispering
Just wanna talk about dog whispering.
What a thing it is.
Abbie is here..lying at my feet, the black spoodle, chewing on a bone and calm and submissive.
I just wanna say;
corny and American that it is...
Thank you Cesar Millan for giving me the tools to make MY life better by having this dog in my life.
You made me think and care and work at being a better person.
I stood up to my mother in law.
Finally
After 37 years I said my piece.
I am done with it...I need nothing more than to have said quietly, calmly, assertively those things that had happened to me, to us, to my children, my man over all those years.
I am grateful for this little Mexican American for showing me a way to live and love and be.
I will talk more on this.
What a thing it is.

Guess I have to Say Something
He was from the 'right' she from the 'left'.
I am so so disappointed.
I don't care that she is a woman..never been my style really..when it comes to health care, love, service or politics.
I am sad.
I have to pull myself out of this.
He was not liked but was respected.
He worked hard, long and determinedly.
He is gone and I am sad.
No one understands why I feel like this, me being such a lefty.
But I do.
It was disgusting, unnecessary and vicious.
I shall move further to the left.
Sad sad sad.

For All his Faults...
Rang my sister for her 60 birthday today. She tells me she is on the road to work and pulls over. Tells me she is ecstatic about her birthday gift. I had only given her a card that sang and a bracelet...but it was the OTHER present. Our first female PM.
I wearily turned on the news.
I watched with awe with disbelief.
I wanted Julia as our first PM but not just yet..may be in 2 years time.
I watched as Kev gave his speech and found myself crying and crying along with him.
He did so much in a mere 2 1/2 years that was trying to patch up and repair the pain and suffering of the previous 11 years of Conversative Govt.
I cried for the loss of an intellectual who had faults but worked so so hard to putting things right for the poor, the sick, sufferers of cancer, the homeless, the schools, the hospitals and most of all our indigenes!
I will be fine but ...
I am mourning today for the loss of a thinking, educated, hard working PM.
He is gone...
long live the new PM.
Ah me.

Breathless
It is not China ( no invoice was sent to the family for the cost), it is not Iran ( where women can be stoned to death), it is not Thailand ( where Australians have been punished), nor Vietnam or Indonesia...
It is UTAH in the USA.
It is breathtaking, gobsmacking and disgustingly obscene that in the good "Christian" nation, in the 'Mormon' State a man is put before a firing squad and had State sanctioned murder committed upon him ( and subsequently ) his family.
This is tragic.
This is disgusting.
This is archaic and pathetic and wrong.
WRONG!
I am so so ashamed of America.
YOU should know better.
I thought it was the stupid state of Texas that only had this ancient attitude.
My heart weeps for what Utah has done, for what you do to the least you do to the great name of your precious Jesus.
You stupid stupid pathetic fools.
Time to grow up and realise that it is childish to hit back when someone has hurt you.
Put away your guns and your state sanction murders and deal with the horrors of human foibles and grow up.
Blurrrghhhhh!

I've been athinkin'
I've been a'thinkin' about why it is that men are the creators of religions.
About how every religion separates men from women.
How about each religion believing in a god that is male, makes women the subjects unto the male.
How it is that the men hold the sway, the say, the power and the control and keep women from becoming equal in every sense.
About how men, then in the name of this male god, goes to war, takes over indigenous peoples, creates a gap between the have and the have-nots, the good and the 'bad', the men and the women.
I've been a'thinkin' how men dress for power when they are 'leading' their church/synagogue/temple etc in clothing that denotes a kind of separation anxiety from women.
How they lord it over the 'congregation' ( usually more women than men) and seem to 'preach' division, anger and separation of 'them' and 'us'.
About the way men stand and deliver requirements of women.
I've been a'thinkin' of how in all this there seems to be a method of desire to claim leadership, glory, wisdom and knowledge that in fact is found in one place.
It is found in the amazing gift that women have.
I've been a'thinkin' that men subconsciously, even overtly, are frustrated that they cannot do not will not ever feel the life growing in their bellies and push new life into the world.
Because of this wars , death and destruction is inevitable because they cannot give up the idea that maybe women hold the secret of life, wisdom, truth and everlasting-ness.
To conceive, birth, suckle and hold life must be the lasting need of man to subjugate, to belittle, to cover, to convert women to a life of secondary power.
From the Jews to the Masons, from the Mormons to the Mulims, from the Christians to the Hindu's there is not ONE who incorporates fully the equality, the partnership, the truth of humanity that is woman. NOT ONE.
So the easiest and quickest way to debunk all of this is to finally realise, and realise it is ok and not frightening or chaotic at all, to realise that there is in fact NO god.
In this there is true equality, love, understanding, wisdom and freedom for all.
So men of the world.
Enough.
Coz I've been a'thinkin' and I think you all are such pathetic creatures who claw your way toward an non existant heaven on the backs of the very people who give you life.
Women.
There is no god! What a thought! What an idea to slip from under the war mongering feet of men, their power to take life, to make death come early, to speak of hatred, division and difference.
There is no god!
In that, I've been a'thinkin' is relief at last for all women in all countries.
For you my sisters are the giver of life.
Enough!!

Long time No See
Hi Gang,
Have been trialling facebook and have destroyed my second persona. So so sick of having to do that but I get far too honest and it whips back to hit me in the teeth. So here I am back again visiting blogland.
Will see how this goes again and hopefully no-one will find me surruptitiously.
Will post photos of my part of the world and what I find amazing.
Hi to Jack, Karen, Dark Times, Pete Bogs, and all you lovely thinking people out there.
love to all

Cards for the Sick ( or Alms for the poor)
Why be a maker of cards, a doer of craft, a designer of messages if when it comes down to it you don't even bother to hand one to your beloved when it is appropriate.
I don't understand so must accept that there are many who do not understand the connection between being kind, doing good and giving of yourself.
Just wanted to say...it has been a long time since I have blogged.
So so busy but am hoping for more time ...
but you know;
my mother in law says; 'if you are fat then you MUST be lazy'.
So if that is so why does she who lives in a glass house throw that particular stone?
She who spent half her life in bed ( before between and after 'work'), or in hospital.
I have never ever entertained people in my bedroom while I 'rested' in bed.
I have always been the first up and the last to bed.
My man says I epitomise the biblical definition of a 'good woman'....( her price is above rubies)
Who is Ruby and why is there competition?
Anyway, thought I would vent my spleen for the first time in 2010.
Hope to catch up with other blogger mates who are also on facebook.
Bon Chance for this year!~
