Twenty Nine

I rang to give greetings for the birth anniversary
and to say what a wondrous experience it was
To produce the baby, the child, the woman
and to let her know how much she was wanted.

"Oh ugghh" she replied. "Why would you want to
squish a baby out of your genitals?"
I was taken aback and replied;
"I would recommend it to anyone, especially men!"

Later as I walked along the streets of this place
I reflected and mulled over her remark.
I wish I had said a few things in return
But knew that it would bring drama.

One thing I thought was;
"If you allow just several men entry
then why not a baby an exit?"
But how crude that would have been, even if true.

So I hold myself quiet for the sake of peace
And smile with a delicious secret
That the greatest gift of all is to choose
Life, through love and desire.
