Well, of course there's no oil there. Intolerable tyranny, yes. Inhumane treatment of the fplks that live there, yes. A total disregard for the rights and wants and wishes of the people there, a mean-spirited, throw-them-in-jail-if-they-disagree-with-the-government attitude, jails stuffed with folks who did NOTHING. NOTHING.
But, surely you don't think that clown in office over here's gonna do anything, do ya? I actually have a friend that escaped that regime, lives and works here, and writes of the events of his country, but, dang. There is little or no word at all about it publically until great disaster hits the place.

Isn't it convenient to fall back on UN rules when there is no immediate monetary gain?
What fools we mortals be, particularly we Americans.
Perhaps we are about to make a change in the next presidential election.

It's a sad, sad, sad, state of affairs when the government thinks more of itself then its people.
